2️⃣ How to Combine Hypnosis and Nutrition?
Transcription :
Is it possible to lose weight with a virtual gastric band?
Yes, provided you are motivated, want to understand and learn concepts of nutrition, to deeply question your eating habits. This therapeutic strategy takes time, especially since it will be necessary to work on the emotional, and this is where hypnosis is extremely useful and effective.
It will allow us to find the root causes of the behavioral disorder and to modify certain food cultures. Hypnosis and nutritherapy are the two tools that will allow us to improve the health of patients.
What is the difference with a bypass or other bariatric surgery?
During the placement of a virtual gastric band, the weight loss is much less spectacular than during surgery. Indeed, the objective will be to give patients essential tools (work on the emotional, sustainable eating habits, etc.) for gentle weight loss, the least traumatic for the body, and the as sustainable as possible.
Unlike surgery, the skin will not relax suddenly (which often requires additional cosmetic surgery), and the body will not suffer from deficiencies and absorption problems.
On the other hand, the therapeutic strategy that I propose requires much more time and personal commitment; it will shake up daily practices, but may help to better manage food cravings. In addition, hypnosis will help restore restful sleep as well as an improved emotional state, essential for effective, healthy and long-term weight loss.
The installation of a virtual gastric band
It consists of two hypnosis appointments during which we will first simulate the pre-operative appointment, then, the next day, the operation itself. Similarly, patients should present on an empty stomach. I will invite the patients, under hypnosis, to enter the operating room in order to undergo the intervention...
They will then have to consciously manage their diet using the methods discussed during subsequent preparatory sessions (hypnosis and nutrition). Thus, they can slowly and sustainably return to a healthy weight, in better mental and physical health.
