Organic Sesame Vegetable Oil

Belonging to the Pedaliaceae family, sesame is an annual herbaceous plant that has erect stems and oval veined leaves. Native to Africa and Asia, sesame is widely grown in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, including India, China, Sudan and Tanzania.

This plant, usually between 50 centimeters and 2 meters high, has solitary flowers, usually white, pink or purple in color, which appear between June and September. The flowers give rise to capsules containing small seeds, which are harvested for oil extraction.

Organic sesame vegetable oil is obtained by cold pressing sesame seeds from organic farming. This oil has a light and fluid texture, with a color ranging from pale yellow to golden yellow. It gives off a delicate and slightly nutty aroma, characteristic of sesame seeds.
