Organic Sesame Vegetable Oil

Belonging to the Pedaliaceae family, sesame is an annual herbaceous plant with upright stems and oval, veined leaves. Native to Africa and Asia, sesame is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions across the world, particularly in India, China, Sudan and Tanzania.

This plant, typically growing between 50 centimeters and 2 meters tall, has solitary flowers, usually white, pink or purple, that bloom between June and September. The flowers develop into capsules containing small seeds, which are harvested for oil extraction.

Organic sesame vegetable oil is obtained through cold-pressing sesame seeds from organic farming. This oil has a light, fluid texture, with a color ranging from pale yellow to golden yellow. It releases a delicate, slightly nutty aroma, characteristic of sesame seeds.
