Restorative sleep formula — which dietary supplements?
The Sleep Pack brings together two complementary dietary supplements: Magnesium Duo in capsules and Pure Glycine crystallised in powder form. Two nutrients, one shared goal: supporting your evening routine, without melatonin and without dependence.
Why this magnesium + glycine combination?
This duo is no accident. Magnesium contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system*, and glycine plays a role in the body's natural sleep-onset signal: two complementary actions, each taken at the right moment of the evening.
And because the two nutrients are kept separate, each one is delivered at its proper dose — including the 2.5 g of glycine used in sleep studies, an amount that simply cannot fit inside a capsule. A synergistic approach, backed by distinct scientific data for each nutrient.
What is magnesium, and what role does it play in the evening?
Magnesium is an essential mineral involved in hundreds of enzymatic reactions (more than 300). It contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function, normal muscle function, and the reduction of fatigue*. Yet modern diets struggle to meet daily needs: magnesium deficiency is thought to affect a large share of the population, and stress speeds up its elimination. It is precisely in the evening, when the nervous system needs to shift into rest mode, that magnesium supplementation makes the most sense.
Forms of magnesium: a matter of absorption and tolerance
Not all forms are equal. Oxide, the type commonly found in pharmacies, is poorly absorbed and often causes digestive discomfort. Magnesium citrate offers good bioavailability but can also irritate sensitive guts. Magnesium Duo combines malate and glycerophosphate, two forms chosen for their high absorption and excellent digestive tolerance, with no laxative effect.
Each dose provides around 160 mg of genuinely absorbable elemental magnesium, complemented by taurine and vitamin B6 — which also contributes to reducing fatigue* — in its active form pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, directly usable by the body and covering 100% of the NRV. All enclosed in a vegetable capsule, free from animal gelatine.
Glycine, the key amino acid for sleep onset
Glycine is an amino acid naturally present in the body, where it plays a dual role: a calming neurotransmitter in the central nervous system (via NMDA receptors and glycine receptors) and a building block for protein synthesis, including collagen. Taken in the evening, it plays a part in lowering the body's core temperature — the physiological signal that precedes sleep onset.
Clinical studies conducted with 2.5 g of glycine before bed report a shorter time to fall asleep, faster access to deep sleep, and a feeling of restorative rest upon waking, with less drowsiness the following day. Our pure crystallised glycine, with its naturally mild flavour, dissolves easily in an herbal tea or a glass of water.
A melatonin-free alternative
Unlike many products in the sleep aisle, this pack contains no melatonin — a substance whose use as a supplement is, in fact, restricted in Switzerland. Magnesium and glycine work with your body's own physiology rather than forcing a hormonal signal: no dependence, no groggy awakening, evening nutrition you can build into your long-term well-being routine. Athletes will find an added benefit here, as the night is the first lever of muscle recovery.
The benefits of a well-built evening routine
A dietary supplement is no substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle: consistent bedtimes, soft lighting, and screens switched off remain the foundation of good sleep quality. Magnesium after your evening meal, followed by glycine before bed, complete this framework. The detailed composition and instructions for use of each product are set out below.
Keep out of reach of children. Pregnant or breastfeeding women and people undergoing medical treatment should seek advice from a healthcare professional; if sleep disturbances persist, a medical consultation is advisable.
