Form of iron bound to two glycine molecules (amino acid) through a patented Ferrochel® process, ensuring optimal stability and superior absorption compared to conventional forms.
Iron bisglycinate is absorbed intact via intestinal amino acid transporters, thus bypassing iron absorption inhibitors present in food. Once in circulation, the iron is released gradually, minimizing gastric irritation and oxidative stress.
